What SonicText processes

When you use the service, it processes the audio or video you provide, the resulting transcript, your speaker-role choices, transcript corrections, highlights, and comments.

Why it is processed

This information is used only to transcribe the recording, provide the review workspace, save your edits temporarily, and create your requested export.

Service providers

AssemblyAI provides transcription. OpenAI-hosted Sites, Cloudflare infrastructure, and the configured media-processing service support hosting, temporary storage, and file handling.

Retention

Recordings, transcripts, and review data are scheduled for automatic deletion seven days after creation. Temporary upload files are removed sooner after processing. Please download anything you need before it expires.

Usage metadata

To prevent abuse, SonicText stores a random browser identifier plus timestamps, feature type, processing duration, status, and estimated cost. The admin dashboard does not display recording or transcript content. This demo does not intentionally use IP addresses to identify visitors.

Your responsibilities

Only upload or capture a conversation when you have the permission required from everyone involved. Avoid using this temporary demo for information that should not be processed by a public demonstration service.
